Could you spare me some change for a racetrack hotdog, please? I haven't eaten all day My brain cells were killed by gas Killed by gasoline I was born to drive cars out in the sun Racing all the other cars in a circle shape Same old circle shape In a circle shape Lucky ticket I bet Ow my lips are burnt now because I didn't wear sunscreen I don't like how it tastes But I want ketchup, mustard Ketchup and mustard Ketchup, mustard, please Lucky ticket I bet My dead friend will cheer me Will rig the race for me and my ticket Rig the race for me Will rig the race for me and my ticket Rig the race for me

See the little kid with their balloon They love their pet, it is Run around holding the string, but now a bird has grabbed the string as well Float away, the bird and kid They fly away Parent looks outside the windowsill The grass is still No sound Rush outside and look above to see Three dots Three shrinking dots No sound That float away, the bird and kid Hold the balloon, they float away Fly away

Gator Job 02:31
Gator's job is to be scary and so hungry Make sure that golfers drive fast... Into the pond, past the fairway, drop all their clubs for their caddy to pick them up, meeting their death, saying goodbye In the mirror, gator tries to pretend his magic eyes gave him big floppy dear ears Motor starts, golfer's strong, approach the tee, it won't be long till gator comes and takes him way down... Into the pond, past the fairway, drop all their clubs for their caddy to pick them up, meeting their death, saying goodbye, their last goodbye Sure it is cruel, but it is cool, do what you love, die having fun Gators rule all, gators rule all, the gator's job is to rule all, the gator's job is to rule all

So many things get lost when you step outside the room It's easier to drive without you Some animals were born to be killed under a car You took their bodies home to your bed, feeling blue Born to chew Ducks spread their wings and walk on the pavement My broken heart has gone to your head You cut your ear to be something special I woke up with a bump on my head They'll marry your daughter Sheep learn to pray All of the fodder when she moves away So many bubbles fly to the clouds where angels sing So many castles rot in the rain I should've learned to speak something good to you in Chinese I'll keep a hidden sword on my lap Feeling blue Born to chew Feeling blue Ducks spread their wings and walk on the pavement My broken heart has gone to your head You cut your ear to be something special I woke up with a bump on my head x2 They'll marry your daughter; sheep learn to pray All of the fodder when she moves away

SOCAN 2021

The idea behind this was to give myself a day to write an album of sorts, then add overdubs to the basic guitar and vocal track in the following days. I let it sit for a few months before mixing, so that I could be surprised when I opened the sessions again, not remembering anything about the songs. It turns out they were about a pet balloon, getting really hungry at a racetrack with a sneaky dead person friend, a surprising amount of alligator themes and more.
